TLGFA PPS Blitz

The TLGFA PPS 1st year Blitz is a competition for all Secondary Schools 1st year Ladies to compete in and was first introduced in 2019 at Rockwell College. On the day we were joined by the Mary Quinn All Ireland Intermediate Cup and by Tipp Senior player Orla O'Dwyer not to mention all the ladies from the 17 teams that participated on the day.

Our u-15 Blitz was first introduced in 2013 on Wednesday May 15^th in Rockwell College. This very successful event was organised by Tony Smith, Rockwell College and Tipperary’s Development Officer, Siobhan Condon. Thirteen schools took part in the blitz with a total of fifteen teams entered with approximately 225 players seeing game time. The games started around ten o’clock and continued throughout the day. There were six pitches available on the day with thanks to Rockwell College and each team had at least three games to play.
