Press Release Tipperary LGFA Senior Manager - Peter Creedon
19th July 2024
Following 3 impressive seasons with Tipperary LGFA, Senior County Manager, Peter Creedon, has announced that he will not be continuing in his role as manager for 2025, in doing so, he wishes Tipperary Ladies and all associated the very best for the future.
Tipperary LGFA would like to thank Peter and of course all of his backroom team, for their time, effort and commitment over the past 3 years since taking up their roles in October 2021.
The 2024 season ended with a determined win over Laois in the Relegation Qualifier maintaining Senior status again for the 2025 season.
During the year, under Peter’s stewardship, the senior team had some very tough games against the strongest established senior teams in the country and with every game Tipperary improved. The Seniors were disappointed and unlucky in both the League and Championship with some of the games decided by the tightest of margins.
Peter has undoubtedly left the Senior set up in a better place after his tenure and we all wish to acknowledge the huge contribution, commitment and dedication that he and his management team have made to Tipperary Ladies Football over the years.
We extend our warmest gratitude to Peter and his backroom team of: Michael O’ Loughlin, Tony Smith, Johnny Nevin, Annie McCarra, Niamh Browne, Mairead O’Connor, John Hickey, Laura Kealy, Ailbhe Ryan, Tommy Toomey, Ellen Ryan & Adrian Cooke.
We thank you all most sincerely and we wish you all the very best in your future endeavours.
