Congratulations to all in Moyle Rovers who take home the coveted Joe McGrath Cup.

This historical win for Moyle Rovers was made all the more poignant when the Joe McGrath Cup was presented to joint captains, Kirsty Crotty- Ryan & Orla Burke by Joe's daughter Anne Marie following their win over Fethard in the TLGFA Camida Senior Championship Final. Joe, who sadly passed away in 2007, was a great Moyle Rovers Club man and indeed was a great advocate for Ladies Football over the years. 

Along with Anne Marie, many of Joe's family and close friends were present in Bansha on October 6th to witness the Clubs first ever win of the Tipperary LGFA Camida Senior Championship. Huge crowds poured onto the pitch following the final blow of the whistle from Mike Duffy and the team and their families and supporters remained for a long time taking in the atmosphere. Following the presentation of the Joe McGrath Cup, both captains gave equally impassioned speeches where they thanked all their families and friends, the Moyle Rovers Club and special mention was reserved for all their management team lead by Liam Cronin. Celebrations began on the pitch in Bansha village and no doubt continued long into the evening in Monroe.
