Tipperary LGFA Launch U16 Sponsorship with Amneal Pharmaceuticals
Tipperary Ladies Gaelic Football Association (LGFA) proudly launched its underage sponsorship for the 2025 season, celebrating a strong and ongoing partnership with Amneal Pharmaceuticals, sponsors of the county’s U16 teams.

The launch event brought together players, coaches, and sponsor representatives, highlighting a shared commitment to supporting the development of young players across Tipperary. Also supporting the underage structures are Quilter and Premier Self Storage, whose contributions continue to play a vital role in the success of the programme.
Niall Prendergast, Vice President of Operations and Site Head for Amneal Ireland, who spoke about the importance of supporting young people through sport:
“We’re delighted to be involved. We think it’s a great initiative to support young sports, especially at underage level and during those teenage years, which are so important. It’s vital that young people have access to sport and the facilities that can support them. We’re delighted to be part of it again.”
Amneal Pharmaceuticals, which operates a major facility in Cashel, has built a strong reputation for community engagement alongside its role as a global biopharmaceutical company. Its continued support of Tipperary LGFA reflects a commitment not only to sport, but to the wellbeing and development of young people in the region.
The launch also included a jersey presentation to Tipperary U16 captain Aoife Ryan (Templemore), symbolising the strong partnership between the association and its sponsors, and the shared ambition to foster the next generation of talent.
Tipperary LGFA Chairperson Damian Johnston added:
“Our underage players are the future of Tipperary Ladies Football, and partnerships like this are essential in helping us provide the best possible environment for them to thrive. We are extremely grateful to Amneal Pharmaceuticals, Quilter, and Premier Self Storage for their continued support.”
The sponsorship will support teams across all underage grades, providing vital resources, training opportunities, and high-quality gear as Tipperary continues to build for the future.
With the 2026 season now underway, excitement is building as Tipperary’s young players compete across provincial competitions, proudly representing their county.
