St Patricks - Junior A championship v Mullinahone

Our junior ladies team travelled to Mullinahone yesterday evening for their 2nd championship match of the campaign. We knew it would be a competitive game against Mullinahone Ladies Football . Throughout the first half the St Pats girls worked hard and were unlucky not to be closer to Mullinahone at the break. Mullinahone had a 10 point lead at the half time mark. St. Patrick’s 1.4 Mullinahone 3.8.

In the second half the girls came out with determination and had a lot of thepossession but were unable to close the gap and were 4 points behind at the final whistle. Final score: St. Patrick’s 2.12 Mullinahone 4.10.

There are now a few weeks of a layoff, next championship game is vs Galtee Rovers St Pecaun Ladies Football Club at home to be played by the 05th of August.
